Doctoral School 15th anniversary

The EPFL Doctoral School celebrates its 15th anniversary!

On the occasion of this anniversary, the Vice-Presidents for Education and for Research, as well as the representatives of the Doctoral School, are pleased to invite you to a festive event that will take place on our campus on July 4, 2019.

Program Summary:
09:00 - 12:10    Symposium on doctoral supervision
12:20 - 13:30    Official part of the 15th anniversary celebration
13:30 - 15:00    Aperitif (SV hall)

Sport on the campus:

The UNIL-EPFL Sports organize sport sessions over lunchtime on the EPFL campus. They are supervised by a trained instructor. Two types of sessions are organized and the themes are often varied:

The shot sessions are 30-minutes sport sessions from 12:00 to 12:30 and 12:30 to 13:0

The campus sessions are 45-minutes sport sessions from 12:15 to 13:00.

Organized by Sports Universitaires UNIL-EPFL. These sessions are free thanks to Campus Durable and the DSPS.

ConneXion: meet new people and discover their culture

The EPFL Chaplain has created a new (non-religious) program called ConneXion to discover other people’s culture around a meal.

  • You come from abroad and you have just arrived in Switzerland or you have been here for while but didn’t have too many occasions to meet with “locals”? Get the opportunity to be invited by a “local” for a meal and discover the Swiss culture. Click here to register to be invited (it might take a little while, please be patient).
  • You have been living in Switzerland for a few years, have integrated cheese and chocolate to all your meals and are open to meet people from different cultural backgrounds? Get the opportunity to invite someone(s) for a home-cooked meal at your place and make them discover your culture. Click here to register to invite.
